"Infinite Earth Song" is a permanent generative artwork for the lobby of Envision Energy's headquarters in Shanghai. A 43.6m wide screen at just 626 x 136 pixels, covered in frosted glass. At that resolution there's no room for detail. The visuals had to work entirely through colour, light and movement. The piece cycles through four chapters (wind, sunrise, animals, bloom), each drawing on natural processes as both subject and method. My role focused on look development and on building and animating the animals chapter, where slowed-down video of water and air animals are remapped and processed through flow simulations to produce movement that feels organic without being literal. Made entirely in TouchDesigner.
